Are EZ Moves Worth It? Or is it Just Plastic?

You've probably seen it on TV, you were probably intrigued. And now you find yourself asking yourself, does this "ezmoves" really work? Is it worth a whole $19.99?! iBust is on the case! (iBust being us, Infomercial Bust, see what we did there?)

Let's start with what this thing claims to do:

  • Gives you up to 10X your natural strength
  • Just lift, place, and slide
  • The EZ Moves® lifter is great for adjusting and leveling appliances.

Pretty simple right?

Yes, it's all very simple. In fact, this might be too simple. Your paying a whole $19.99 for some plastic. I managed to get the same effect by tapping cut pieces of a cereal box to the legs of a very heavy computer desk. The smooth side of the cereal box let the computer desk smoothly slide across the carpet and even tile. And This was only one layer, I probably could have made it even better by layering in some more pieces.

For furniture with no legs you could easily find any smooth piece of wood, put it underneath the end of the furniture piece and easily push from the other side. I've managed to re-decorate my room dozens of times on my own using these methods.

The only reason you would even consider buying EZ Moves is for that neat lifter. I can't say anything about this one, it does the job perfectly. The one thing that will trip you up and make iBust bust this thing is the price. Let's see what we really pay for this:

If we visit the EZ Moves website they don't even show us straight up what we pay! We have to first enter our Credit Card information, already something is fishy. So we look a little closer at the price...
Not only is Processing and Handling a whopping $7.95, you actually pay it twice!
That's right, you need to pay an additional $7.95 for your free set. If only eddyq, an Amazon user, had known of this! Let's see what this person has to say about his EZ Moves purchase:
"Don't order from GetEZMoves.com ... they advertise 19.99+7.95 s&h then after the credit card information has been entered they offer an upgrade to the large one shown on TV for $5. If you say "yes" they show the total where they have added an additional $10 instead of $5 and an additional $7.95 in s&h which was not mentioned on the upgrade offer. So what you think will be a total of $32.94 is $45.89. There is no opportunity to back out or edit your order as there is with all other reputable web sites. Then if you call their phone number it is an automated system and all you can do is place yet another order."

To end this quick, you must know, I found these furniture movers on Amazon for incredibly cheaper prices. Which is why we are giving this EZ Moves infomercial an undeniable bust. According to them the final price should be $35.89, well that my friend is way too much to pay for this stuff. Never call or even order on their website, you WILL feel like ripped-off.

This thing works, and if you can deal with the price, go for it. But for us average savvy Americans, we can order here at Amazon for only $15.98, and this is WITH the shipping.

Other than the stuff mentioned above, we have not been able to find a solid alternative. If you know of something that works much better than this product please let us all know! Comment now for goodness sake!
